Since the advent of the scholarship program in 2007, the Kevin C. Barnhill Memorial Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarship stipends to 151 graduating high school seniors attending 27 greater Cincinnati area high schools. The scholarship programs include the flagship program at Little Miami High, the Kings High School Baseball Scholarship, the William O. Barnhill III Family Science Scholarship at Moeller High School, the CABL Hall of Fame Scholarship and the Sycamore Presbyterian Church Student Ministers Scholarship.
In December of 2022, the Memorial Scholarship Fund made the decision to expand its
scholarship outreach internationally. The PCEA Nanyuki Academy of Nairobi, Kenya has been the recipient of monetary donations funding 32 entry level tuition stipends to destitute children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to take part in formal education.
The local and international scholarship programs have been formally endowed to sustain their impact well into the future.

It was an honor competing for the educational financial assistance as well as getting to know the Barnhill Family in the process. Additionally, being recognized by an organization that stands for leadership, sportsmanship, and deep community roots is an incredible honor I hold close to me everyday. The Fund does more than support education, it also inspires young student/athletes like me to carry Kevin's legacy forward."

The Kevin C. Barnhill Memorial Scholarship and Community Outreach Fund proudly supports students through scholarship opportunities designed to encourage leadership, service, and personal growth.
Each scholarship awarded represents an investment in the future and continues Kevin’s legacy by helping students pursue their goals and create positive change within their communities.
